About Us

Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD)

Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) is a non-profit organisation established in the year 2000. We are operational in the areas of Kuppam Rural ,Tirupati Rural, Kalahasthi Mandal, Chittoor/Tirupati Districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Our objectives are:

  • Promoting community based, capacity building to empower people particularly women, children and vulnerable sections
  • Economic empowerment of poor families through collective action
  • Promoting the value of sustainable development and environment friendly living conditions through the preservation of natural resources and a safe environment
  • Advocacy, Lobbying through IEC and Convergence.

National Consumers Day was celebrated by CSD at S. V. Junior College, Tirupati. Several dignitaries were part of this event to create awareness about the consumer rights.

CSD celebrated World Environment Day by organising a plantation program at Amudalakona Habitation, Chandragiri-Tirupati

COVID-19 Awareness Program - Health drink distribution

CSD organised awareness program on preventive measures of virus in 4 habitations at Thottambedu Mandal, Srikalahasthi. In this connection, we distributed apple juice and fruits to the children/ others. L. Suryanarayana Reddy, GVS NGO and Rajendranath Reddy Renuka Bio farms participated in the program. The above program was sponsored by PACE NGO / Coca Cola Foundation and supported by GRADES NGO.
